The vehicle offered, FV432 Armored Personnel Carrier, is a British Army vehicle. This vehicle is equipped with the Peak Engineering 7.62-mm GPMG Turret in place of the standard commander's cupola. It is in its original, unrestored condition. The overall appearance and performance of this vehicle is quite good. All controls function normally. The transmission and drives function properly. Interior is complete although the headliner needs replacement. Tracks and roadwheels are good. Spare track blocks, pioneer tools and tow cable are present. Interior communications equipment is present. Original boiling vessels are present. The exterior paint is in very good condition

Development of the FV432 began in 1959 as the British Army was looking for a fully enclosed armored vehicle to transport infantry on the battlefield. The development contract was awarded to GKN Sankey Limited. Four prototype and ten production vehicles used for troop trials were built beginning in 1962. Once the usual developmental bugs were worked out, the FV432 Mk I entered service with the British Army in 1963. The Mk 2 followed this in 1965.

The basic description of the FV432 is that of a battle taxi or an armored box, much like its American counterpart, the M113. The box hull rides on five pairs of roadwheels with the drive sprocket at the front and idler at the rear. The driver sits at the right front of the vehicle with the commander near the vehicle center. Bench seats are situated on either side of the infantry compartment. The infantry enter and exit the FV 432 via a large door in the hull rear. The vehicle is provided with protection against nuclear, biological and chemical attack via a filtration system located on the right hand side of the hull.

As built, the FV432 was equipped with circular commander's cupola with a single hatch. This cupola had provision to mount the L7A2 machine gun. In order to provide full protection for the commander, the cupola could be replaced by the Peek Engineering 7.62-mm GPMG Turret.

Although replaced in mechanized infantry units by the Warrior Infantry Fighting Vehicle, the FV432 continues to serve in the British Army as an engineer vehicle, and various specialty roles. It is expected to continue in service until 2020.
