Toyota’s Land Cruiser sport utility vehicle is the longest-lived model in the company’s history. The first, developed from Jeep specifications, went into production in 1951. The best-known model, the FJ40, dates from 1960. From then to 1984, more than a million were built. The following for Toyota FJ’s is ever growing; making the collectability of these off-road vehicles even more popular today.
This Toyota is equipped with a 3,878-cc, 155-hp inline six-cylinder engine and a three-speed manual transmission. The chassis is equipped with power hydraulic brakes and a four-wheel drive system that is controlled from the inside of the FJ. The outside of the Toyota is finished with red paint on the body and white paintwork on the roof. A front bumper-mounted winch and a year mounted spare tire adorn the exterior of the Toyota. The inside of the Cruiser is painted red and features black upholstery, newer stereo system and an aftermarket air conditioning system. This is a very desirable example that is eloquently presented; and it is complete and ready for its new owner.
