The timeless silhouette of the new-for-1964 Lincoln Continental had a new size and refined styling, but the essence was unmistakably Continental. The classic profile had been lengthened to provide greater interior space for its passengers.
The Lincoln Continental convertible has a 430-cid, 320-hp V-8 engine that is mated to a Turbo-Drive automatic transmission. The car has been restored and is presented in black with a white interior, plus the approximate 65,000 miles are actual. Among the power features on these well-appointed convertibles, you will find six-way seat, top, windows, door locks, steering and brakes. This model is well known for its “suicide” rear door hinging and stylish design. This example also has an AM/FM radio and air conditioning. In 1964, Lincoln is reported to have built just 3,328 similar cars.
