‘5 Miles to the Gallon’ is an original Brass Era depiction by sculptor Stanley Wanlass of a young man, his lady friend, and their collie in search of gasoline. The bronze sculpture features a detailed base with several scenes of the same couple speeding along joyously prior to their running out of gas, and even parking under a full moon! This hand-painted polychrome bronze on a marble and walnut base was created by the artist in 1986 as a limited series of 35 examples.
