  • Built to RSR specifications
  • Porsche 917 wheels

The original Porsche RSR’s were developed for completion racing. The RSR became one of Porsches most dominant racecars in the 1970s, competing in Group 4 racing. In the first year of competition, in 1973, the RSR had seven German racing wins and three international racing wins. The RSR went on to compete at the European GT Championship in 1974. The cars were producing upwards of 400 horsepower and were capable of speeds in excess of 170-mph.

Presented here is a 1971 Porsche 911T that has been modified as a RSR Tribute. The car has been reportedly built to RSR specifications and even features a full roll cage. The exterior of the car is finished in Gulf Livery with a fiberglass hood, fiberglass trunk, fender flares, rear mounted spoiler and Porsche 917 wheels. The front fascia of the car is very well modified to replicate the original RSR. The interior of the car has only two racing seats with safety harnesses and the built in roll cage. Moving this Porsche is a flat six-cylinder engine paired with a five-speed manual transmission.
