The 1941 Chevrolet Deluxe Town Sedan provided new heights of Chevy luxury with beauty, comfort and convenience. Unusually large doors gave access to the most spacious and comfortable interior yet. The car featured improved construction and many deluxe appointments. It is powered by a 216-cid, 90-hp inline six-cylinder engine and has a three-speed manual transmission. The Black sedan has nicely presented bright trim elements, some with stylish red accents. The interior is presented in tan cloth that looks period correct; this beautifully executed interior has ruby maroon highlights and looks exquisite throughout. Whitewall tires and factory hubcaps complete the 1940s design that looks as fresh as when new.

This particular Chevrolet is all the more special as it was a gift to Chicago Bears Hall of Fame running back Gale Sayers. Mr. Sayers received the Chevrolet from his wife as a surprise gift on the occasion of his 50th birthday. Mr. Sayers will be adding a signed football, and/or photograph to go along with this extremely well-presented Black sedan. The interior and engine bay are just as tidy, plus the floor mats have the Chicago Bears logo as a constant reminder to the prior owner and the natural provenance that accompanies this solid pre-war machine.
