The heart of the car is a 350-cid, 350-hp V-8 engine that is mated to an automatic transmission. The engine bay is dominated by a custom engine cover. The car has a great deal of custom body work that includes the roofline being chopped two-inches, the side panels are from a ’49 Mercury and are custom built from front to rear, custom rolled panels, custom chrome inserts in front and rear roll pans, custom chrome grille, ’52 Mercury headlights, two-piece tailgate has been made into a custom one-piece, all glass is mounted from the inside, bottoms of the doors are extended to eliminate the lower seam, the paint is from PPG, graphics are found in both the interior and exterior; billet wheels and Michelin tires complete the look. The custom leather interior features bucket seats, custom dash and center console, Alpine sound system, air conditioning, plus many other eye-catching details that truly set this machine apart.
