With only one repaint from new in Target Red, this full-size Olds will make quite a statement when compared to the more common Fords and Chevys seen at local shows and cruise nights. It’s good looking too, with its power-operated white convertible top, matching red boot and red vinyl interior. One of three full-size convertible models offered by Olds for 1965, it is one of just 8,832 produced. It is powered by the new-for-1965 425-cid, 300-hp Rocket V-8 and Jetaway Drive automatic transmission. Further optioned with power steering, power brakes, factory wire wheel covers and original radio with optional rear seat speaker; it also includes its owner’s manual and original Protect-O-Plate.
