In 1978, Porsche introduced the brilliant 3.0-liter 911SC. Porsche had finally mated a body that was capable of lasting indefinitely with an engine that was capable of lasting nearly that long. Well maintained 911SCs are capable of 300,000 miles between engine rebuilds. Power was up too from the 2.7-liter 911 although not by an enormous amount and the SC was good for a 0- to 60-mph run of about 6.3-seconds. This rare factory sunroof example is believed to correctly show 66,000 actual miles. Finished in gold with black upholstery, it has been in storage for the majority of the past two decades. It is Porsche Certified, complete with COA and is especially desirable with the Fuchs wheels and desirable whale tail spoiler.
