The Volkswagen convertible being offered was acquired from the daughter of its original owner and is a rust-free and very solid California car. The VW was restored approximately five years ago and was refinished in its original light blue color. It has been driven very few miles since and is in very nice condition. The rear-engine platform has a horizontally-opposed four-cylinder engine and a floor-shift four-speed manual transmission. The electrical system has been upgraded to 12-volt and the car also has an AM radio. Color-coded steel wheels are fit with wide whitewall tires and factory hubcaps.
