If there is a central theme running through Don Davis’ collection, it is that his cars are powerful. Naturally, you would expect that same obsession with the thrill of speed to carry over to even his most modern automobiles—and so it does.
This 911 Turbo Cabriolet was sold new from Porsche of Monterey in Seaside, California, on August 30, 2007. Finished in GT Silver Metallic with a black leather interior and a black top, it carries on its four wheels every option that the factory offered that year; a laundry list that includes the Tiptronic S transmission, heated front seats, a parking assist system, a Sport Chrono Package Turbo, a module for a cellular telephone, a remote six-disc CD changer, and floor mats to match the interior, all as verified by the accompanying window sticker.
The result is a car that is both extremely comfortable and extremely speedy, and accordingly, it has enjoyed just over 5,000 miles of use.
