RM Sotheby’s is delighted to partner with Charles Leclerc to support an important personal initiative, ‘Charles Leclerc for Emilia-Romagna’. The entire sale proceeds will be donated to help those affected by the recent flooding in Emilia-Romagna, Italy.

The Scuderia Ferrari driver is offering a remarkable opportunity to acquire four lots, comprising his 2023 Monaco Grand Prix race-worn helmet, race suit, gloves, and boots, all of which are signed and are offered directly from Charles himself. The highlight is undoubtedly the Bell HP77 crash helmet that was designed by Charles specifically for the 2023 Monaco Grand Prix and which was inspired by that worn by his father, Herve Leclerc, who became the first in the family to race the streets of Monte-Carlo.

The funds raised from the four items will be directly donated to the Municipality of Imola for all of the most affected territories and cities which have been devastated by the floods that struck a vast area of the Emilia-Romagna region in Italy—home to the famous Maranello factory and home to the Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari, Imola Grand Prix Circuit—with special attention for families with children who have unfortunately lost their houses.

The floods struck in May 2023 and an estimated 20,000 people are believed to have been displaced in the worst flooding to affect Italy in 100 years.
