The reputation that comes with the Rolls-Royce name is one of high acclaim. This particular Silver Shadow is painted in Ice Green with green and cream piping throughout the interior. Powered by a 6,750-cc V-8 engine this particular automobile had the power when it was necessary but the luxury at all times. In the late 1970’s and early 1980’s, the Rolls-Royce automobile division encountered difficult times as Britain entered a serious economic recession. The Silver Shadow remained as their bread-and-butter model with over twenty-five thousand units produced from 1965-1980. For 1977, the model was renamed the Silver Shadow II in recognition of several major changes, most notably, rack-and-pinion steering; modifications to the front suspension improved handling superbly.
