The reputation that comes with the Rolls-Royce name is one of high acclaim. This particular Silver Shadow is painted in Ice Green with green and cream piping throughout the interior. Powered by a 6,750-cc V-8 engine this particular automobile had the power when it was necessary but the luxury at all times. Further adding to the appeal and value, the 19,000 miles shown on the odometer are actual.

In the late 1970’s and early 1980’s, the Rolls-Royce automobile division encountered difficult times as Britain entered a serious economic recession. The Silver Shadow remained as their bread-and-butter model with over twenty-five thousand units produced from 1965-1980. For 1977, the model was renamed the Silver Shadow II in recognition of several major changes, most notably, rack-and-pinion steering; modifications to the front suspension improved handling superbly.
