After 18 years in Europe, nearly 3.5 million Fiat 500’s had been sold. However, they were not available in the U.S. until after 1961. Some believe that it was because the 1,070-pound car with a top speed of 50-mph was not ready for the fast-paced traffic in the United States. American models can be easily identified by their 7-inch headlamps imbedded onto the nose, where European models had 5-inch headlamps.

The Fiat offered here has ‘Nick Dioguardi’ pinstriped on the side of the car, since this was done the car has affectionately been called “The Nick.” This Fiat 500L is presented in the traditional Italian Red with matching red interior and seats. Powering this lovely car is a 500-cc four-cylinder air-cooled engine, attached to a manual floor-shifting transmission.
