This unique convertible was the only four-door convertible made in America at this point in time. It provided the largest passenger compartment of any convertible. The Continental has front-hinged front doors and rear-hinged, “suicide,” rear doors, which came to be a Lincoln feature often commented upon in the 1960s. This styling feature is still admired today, as is the rest of the stylish luxury convertible and the statement it made.

This particular example is fitted with a 462-cid V-8 and an automatic transmission, and it is finished in red with a nicely presented white interior. The Lincoln is generously equipped with many lighting and convenience features, radio; power brakes, windows, front seat and convertible top.
