Introduced in 1955, this limited production model was based on the 2nd Series Task Force line. The Cameo had as much emphasis placed on it's styling and cab comforts as Chevy's passenger cars. The innovative fiberglass bed with neatly enveloped fenders was an upscale departure from the broad fendered stepside boxes seen on the other Task Force trucks. The Cameos were especially popular as a second "errand" vehicle in the booming American suburbs. This example has had an excellent restoration and features a 350 V8 engine and an automatic transmission.
