In 1949, the 4CV arrived in America with a far different appearance than any other car that was being sold in the U.S. at the time. The front passenger doors were rear-hinged “suicide” doors while the rear doors were hinged from the front.

Powering this car is a 747-cc inline four-cylinder engine mated to a three-speed manual transmission. The car was recently imported and is reported to be original, including the original blue paint. On the hood of the car is said to be a rare and extremely sought after “4 horse head” ornament option. The interior is said to be an original beige pattern, adorned with Jaeger instrumentation. Included with the car is the factory jack with spare tire. It also has European plates and period correct registration stickers displayed on the windows.
