This represents a very popular car that, in period, was considered as unquestionably one of the most handsome cars on the road. The Ford Model 48 Five-Window Coupe had ample passenger room, the option of a rumbleseat, a lowering rear window, plus luxurious upholstery and appointments. The cowllights had been removed from all Ford cars to not obstruct the sweeping lines.
