Just as the Camaro platform had long been admired from its 1967 introduction; the 1997 Chevrolet Camaro RS commanded attention wherever it went. The RS was available in 1997 as a coupe or convertible; this is the desirable T-top coupe variation – plus the top sections are the optional transparent type. What set the RS-spec apart in 1997 was the aggressive looking ground-effect lower bodywork, a unique to the RS rear spoiler, and distinctive RS badging on the front fenders and rear panel. The car wasn’t advertised as being subtle; it was a strong 3.8-liter V-6 powered car that is still respected today.
This green-toned example has a gray interior and is well-equipped with an automatic transmission, AM/FM radio, air conditioning, factory alloy wheels; power windows, steering and brakes.
