This E-Type (XKE) V-12 Roadster has been enthusiast owned and cared for from new. It has been in its last collector ownership since 1998. Prior to 1998, it had resided in long-term ownership having been owned by a West Coast collector. The silver with black Jaguar has been properly cared for, with attention directed at preserving what is, arguably, one of the best, sympathetically restored V-12 Roadsters that the current owner has experienced. As can be confirmed in the associated photographs, it is in absolutely superb condition and displays only slight patina to its seats, which has been “earned” legitimately. It has been cared for in an exceptional manner and this has been executed carefully to preserve the condition. It was properly repainted recently in its original color.
It is rather uncommon to find such a preservation-type example in this fine condition. The Jaguar is said to have never sustained any accident damage and has never had the need for rust repair. Everything works as it was originally intended when new and it runs and drives as one would expect from such a nicely presented car. Among the equipment are knock-off chromed wire wheels, factory air conditioning, radio, power windows, power steering, power four-wheel disc brakes and fresh Pirelli tires. The E-Type is accompanied by all original factory books, tools and jack.
