Appearing in the fall of 1922, the new 1923 Model T was given a one-man top, new sloping angle on the windshield and a "instrument panel" was now standard, this one is fitted with the optional electric starter ( a $65 option). Fresh out of the Charlie Walker Collection, this very original, long-time Kansas Model T is a pleasure to drive. Running with a 176.7-cid, 23-hp L-head inline four-cylinder engine with a two-speed planetary manual transmission. Kevlar bands in the transmission offer a very smooth and chatter-less take off and transition through low and high gears. The water pump keeps the engine nice and cool; this Ford is ready for your local parade or touring event.
