This midget is thought to be from the 1950s, built in the style of a Kurtis-Kraft with an overhead-valve four-cylinder Ford engine and an “in/out” gearbox. Some of the appropriate racing components include rear torsion-bar suspension, magnesium wheels, hydra shock absorbers, dry-sump oiling system and drum brakes. The nose, hood and tail section are all fiberglass construction. Car enthusiast and jazz clarinet legend, Pete Fountain, has signed the dashboard of this car; we cannot confirm that it was owned or raced by him.
