Based in Racine, Wisconsin, the J.I. Case Threshing Machine Company prduced automobiles from 1911 to 1927. In their first year, this aggressive company entered three cars into t he inaugural 1911 Indianapolis 500. All three Case cars qualified and occupied the pole position and two spots on the second row. They did not finish the race and were placed 28th, 29th and 31st.
In 2011 this Case participated in the 100th Anniversary Indianapolis 500 Celebration of Automobiles where it placed second in Class and ran a number of ceremonial laps around the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
This Case received a professional frame-off restoration that was completed in 2014.
