Advertised as, “the Standard for the American road.” Ford continued to use the previous year’s bodies, but received moderate trim updating. New convenience features were available, such as power windows, brakes and seats. A new high compression Y-block V-8 was added along with an updated front suspension which now had ball joints instead of kingpins.
The high quality restoration was completed some time ago, but it was completed by noted restorer Hibernia Auto Restoration in New Jersey. This car has the 239-cid Y-block V-8 engine that produced 130-hp from the factory. The Ford has an automatic transmission, full wheel covers, whitewall tires, cabin heater AM radio and dual exhaust. The paint is completed in blue with a white roof; and the interior is finished with the same two-tone colors.
