The Camaro line added a new Type LT model to broaden its market appeal as buyers were looking for more luxurious features. The new model also countered its competitor, the Ford Mustang Grande. Buyers liked what they saw as 32,327 were sold of a total Camaro production of 96,751 units. This lightly modified Type LT is nicely equipped with the 350-cid V-8 fitted with a Holley carburetor, automatic transmission with Hurst shifter, power steering, brakes, and windows; air conditioning, plus black vinyl top and interior. It includes a rear spoiler, an aftermarket hood with tie-down pins; steel Cragar wheels and radio with tape player.
