Model year 1959 introduced Chevrolet’s glamorous new model that they were so proud of that Chevrolet featured the similar Impala design on the cover of their factory brochure. They labelled it as the “fashion star” of the series; the new Sport Sedan. It has earned the nickname “flat top” over the years. It has an airy look that is crowned by a slender roofline that flares over the wide and contoured rear window, adding headroom for rear seat passengers.

This North Carolina example was one-family-owned for many years, and it is said to have been judiciously used during its time with this family, which is evident by its fantastic condition. The Impala has experienced one repaint in its original color and also has an excellent original interior. The chrome and trim elements are also conveyed to be in very nice condition. The car is powered by an inline six-cylinder engine that is paired with an automatic transmission; additional equipment includes power steering, wide whitewalls and vibrant two-tone paint.
