Introduced in December 1933, Chevrolet’s new line of pickups was drastically different than their predecessors. Styling was more attractive and featured smoother and slightly more voluptuous fenders, and the designers revised the grille; all of these updates helped to increase the fluidity of the truck’s design to make it more appealing to customers. These trucks introduced new styling with components that were not interchangeable with their passenger car cousins, and these new pickup trucks would plant the seed for Chevrolet trucks to grow and prosper as their own platform in the future.
This truck has an older restoration and is finished in hunter green with black fenders and running boards, along with a black vinyl bench seat interior. It is riding on yellow spoke wheels with chrome bow tie hub caps. The engine is said to be in good running order and is an inline six-cylinder engine backed by a three-speed manual transmission. The truck sports a side-mounted spare tire, wood bed floor and excellent brightwork.
