This nicely built Moss was produced by the Bill Moss Engineering facility in Inglewood, California. The machine utilizes a three horsepower Continental engine, positive rack-and-pinion steering and a well-constructed matte fiberglass body. This is currently a non-runner, as it is missing engine components. The car has a functional hand-brake and independent front suspension with coilover shocks. It is reported this half-midget was designed by George Salih, who was the owner/designer of the Quinn Epperly-built 1957 and 1958 Indianapolis 500 winning car of Sam Hanks and Jimmy Bryan. Sam Hanks, the 1957 winner, was photographed in period while he drove a similar Moss car.
