This MV Agusta was originally built as a 600, according to factory records. Not unusual, the frame and engine were modified to 750-specifications, as the original 600 was thought to be sluggish and unattractive. The modified MV then passed into a Belgian collection, where the motorcycle was subsequently sent to Giovanni Magni in August 2007 for further modification. The Magni name has been attached to MV Agusta since Arturo Magni led the incredibly successful MV Agusta racing team.

Giovanni carried on his father’s legacy by continuing to modify MV Agusta road bikes into powerhouse machines now famous in the motorcycling world. The bike offered here is one such creation, with a rebuilt 861-cc engine as well as chain-drive conversion.

Questa MV Agusta è stata originariamente costruita, come registrato nella scheda di produzione, come 600. Non insolita,emte, il telaio e il motore sono stati modificati secondo le specifiche della 750, in quanto in monti pensavano che la 600 fosse lenta e poco attraente. La MV così modificata è poi passata in una collezione belga, da dove, nell’Agosto del 2007, la motocicletta è stata inviata a Giovanni Magni per ulteriori modifiche. Il nome di Magni è strettamente collegato a quello della MV Agusta da quando Arturo Magni era il responsabile della squadra corse della MV Agusta, negli anni dei maggiori successi.

Giovanni ha portato avanti l'eredità del padre continuando a modificare le moto stradali della MV Agusta in moto potentissime oggi famose nel mondo del motociclismo. La moto offerta in asta è una di queste sue creazioni, con un motore ricostruito da 861 cc e la conversione della distribuzione a catena.
