18 hp, 113 cu. in. International four-cylinder engine, and four-speed manual transmission

Introduced in late-1947 and built by International Harvester, the McCormick-Farmall Super A was an upgraded version of the Farmall A with more standard equipment, adding to its weight. The Super A was mechanically identical to the A except for a slightly higher compression ratio, which gave it slightly more power. One of the main features of the Super A was the introduction of the “Touch-Control” hydraulic system in response to the Ferguson three-point system used by Ford.

The model was so successful that over 100,000 examples were built before it was superseded by a new model. This example has been fully restored and is finished in red with white headlights and a single white taillight. It has a padded and upholstered seat, and with a claimed 16 horsepower available to power the takeoff, it can easily drive the accompanying triple-blade lawnmower.
