The business coupe was a mid-year addition to Ford’s Model A line in 1928. A basic, economical car, it was first offered with blind rear quarters and a limited number of color and interior options. For 1929, the business coupe was given oval “porthole” windows, the type now called “opera windows,” and additional interior combinations became available.
This car was the recipient of a body-off professional restoration last season. It is finished in Wedgewood Green with black fenders and wheels and has the correct Spanish Brown colonial-grain artificial leather interior. The engine was completely rebuilt and has been fitted with a Weber downdraft two-barrel carburetor and manifold for enhanced performance. Accessories include whitewall tires, nickel valve stems, and the coveted quail radiator cap. The rear-mounted spare has a canvas cover, and a deluxe car cover is included in the sale. A fine example of a limited-production Model A, it will be an excellent addition to any Ford collection.
