220 hp, 283 cu. in. V-8 engine, with four-barrel carburetor, automatic transmission, independent front suspension with upper and lower wishbones and coil springs, live rear axle with leaf springs, and four-wheel drum brakes. Wheelbase: 115 in.

With the cost of restoration often far exceeding the value of a vehicle, it is always nice to find one in outstanding condition and already finished. Restored from the frame up in 2004 and using many new parts, this Matador Red Bel Air features period correct silver and red upholstery. Highlights include an original 283-cubic inch V-8 with the Power Pack option, a two-speed Turbo-Glide automatic transmission, a Wonderbar radio, a tissue dispenser, spinner hubcaps, fender skirts, power steering, and manual brakes. Newer equipment includes a new gas tank, dual exhaust, white vinyl convertible top with back window, power top pump, dashboard trim, fuel and temperature gauges with new lenses, and Coker Classic tires. All body rubber and weather stripping was replaced during the refurbishment, as well. Today, the car shows minimal use since finished nearly a decade ago. Every area of the car is clean and presents well, with good panel fit and door closure.
