Borrowing nothing from the design of any other car, the unique Sting Ray blueprint still looks as fresh and exciting today as it did at the time of its introduction 40 years ago. This example, offered in Riverside Red with black upholstery, may be the best opportunity to affordably experience the highs of a first-year Sting Ray. It reflects a patina of an older restoration that can easily be freshened up by a novice. The engine compartment holds the original numbers matching 327/300 horsepower small block that shows signs of use and enjoyment, while the underside is quite similar in that the older restoration has mellowed.
