330 hp 390 cu. in. big block V-8 engine with four-barrel carburetor, automatic transmission, independent front suspension with unequal-length A-arms and coil springs, live rear axle with semi-elliptic leaf springs, and four-wheel power hydraulic drum brakes. Wheelbase: 119 in.

With a multitude of engine, transmission, and convenience options available, the entire Galaxie line was an unqualified success that also benefited from the excitement associated with Ford’s “Total Performance” campaign. This prime example was ordered with the Code Z 390 V-8, rated at an impressive 330 horsepower. The paint is well presented over a straight body, which displays good panel and door fit throughout. The top appears practically new with a clear back window. Well-restored trim can be found on the interior, with excellent upholstery, an AM/FM Ford radio, bucket seats, power steering, a console, and tight-fitting carpets. The engine compartment also reflects a quality restoration with fresh and clean components. Similarly, the undercarriage has been well detailed with black paint and a newer exhaust system. The trunk compartment presents nicely with a proper jack, spare tire, mat, and top boot, all neatly positioned and, like the rest of this Sunliner, ready for show.
