The One Twenty is an important car in the marque’s history because it signified the first time that Packard entered into the highly competitive, mid-priced eight-cylinder car market, while also retaining the company’s reputation as a premier American luxury automobile. Finished in dark plum, this sedan was delivered new for Mountain Motors of Denver on May 2, 1936 and has enjoyed a well preserved life ever since. Very straight body panels show off the older restoration with minimal blemishes. The chrome and brightwork have held up well, complemented by period-correct wide whitewall Firestone tires, along with the dual side-mount spares and rear luggage rack. The grey fabric interior was restored a number of years ago. A factory radio and front amber accessory fog lamps dress up this majestic motor car.
