85 hp, 221 cu. in. flathead V-8 engine, single two-barrel Stromberg downdraft carburetor, Fenton headers, three-speed sliding gear manual transmission, front and rear transverse spring suspension, and four-wheel mechanical brakes. Wheelbase: 121 in.

Ford touted, “Greater Beauty, Greater Comfort, and Greater Safety” for the 1935 models. Clad with nearly every accessory offered, as well as some speed equipment, this DeLuxe coupe is precisely what Ford was advertising. It is believed to have been restored and re-finished more than 25 years ago and has developed a lovely patina in the intervening years. Nevertheless, all areas of the car show few signs of use. The interior is finished in mohair tan cloth with some unusual features, including a rearview mirror with an internal Ford clock, a visor vanity mirror with a ceiling-mounted light and switch, and a rare under-dash Stewart-Warner South Wind gasoline heater for passenger comfort. Other notable items include a rear-mounted spare, a luggage rack, dual cowl lights, mirrors, Ford fog lamps and external horns, a dual exhaust, Fenton headers, an aluminum intake, and a Columbia two-speed rear axle. This coupe’s rarity, popularity, and character certainly make it highly desirable.
