300 hp, 368 cu. in.V-8 engine, four-barrel Carter carburetor, Turbo-Drive automatic transmission, and four-wheel hydraulic drum brakes. Wheelbase: 126 in.

This Mark II was originally ordered for Dr. P.S. O’Reilly and was delivered through Tommie Vaughn Motors in Glendale, California, on February 20, 1956. It still wears its original California “black plate” and, as it spent its entire life in the Los Angeles area before going to Texas, it remains extremely solid. In 2002, a high quality, no expense spared restoration was commissioned, bringing it to its current exceptional condition. Only the highest quality materials were used in the restoration, including deep red and white Scottish leather and deep red Wilton wool floor coverings. Of minor note is some damage to the leather dash, which will need to be repaired. All mechanicals were completely rebuilt and refreshed per original specifications, and no major bodywork was required in preparation for the very rare Amethyst paint. With the coveted factory air conditioning, the only option available, this Mark II presents the opportunity to acquire a special example of this highly sought after collector car.
