240 bhp, 2,926 cc DOHC V-8 engine with four twin-choke Weber carburetors, five-speed manual transaxle, front and rear independent suspension with unequal-length A-arms, coil springs, anti-roll bar, and four-wheel disc brakes. Wheelbase: 92.1 in.

Famed Canadian Ferrari dealer Luigi Della Grotta sold this 308 GTB to its first owner, and today, it has 43,000 original miles and a known history from new. The current owner purchased the car from its fourth owner in Victoria, Canada, in 2015. It was then imported to the United States and delivered to Ferrari specialist Chris Dugan. Dugan was tasked with going through the car to make it ready for road use.

The GTB had been properly stored but was not regularly driven the preceding five years. Dugan evaluated the car upon arrival and confirmed that the engine had been rebuilt in the early 2000s as the seller stated. Due to lack of use, there were oil leaks and a service beyond the basic belt change was necessary. The engine was removed, partially disassembled, and reassembled with all new gaskets, seals, and belts. The carburetors were gone through and perform wonderfully. The braking system was given the same treatment with all-new lines, fluids, and pads. The cooling and AC systems received appropriate attention as well.

New 14-inch Michelin XWX tires were fitted, and road testing and sorting began. Chris Dugan drove the car for one hundred miles, making appropriate adjustments, and since then it has performed excellently for over 2,000 miles. Since being imported, the owner has spent over $15,000 on maintenance and sorting, making it in very good running and driving condition today. It is an excellent driver that is ready for the road and is attractive cosmetically, with a well-preserved Pelle Rossa interior and one repaint in its original color of Grigio Ferro Metallic. Included in the sale are the jack kit, tool kit, original owner’s manual and warranty card in their correct pouch, service receipts, and a letter from Ferrari Classiche confirming its original engine number and color combination.

This is an excellent, well-maintained 308 GTB for any enthusiast.
