One of just 3,180 of these iconic four-door convertibles produced in 1966, the Calumet Collection’s example is among the finest available today. It is documented by its original window sticker as having been sold by Peterson Lincoln-Mercury of Minneapolis, finished as it is today in Venetian Yellow with a Black interior and top, front power bucket seats, factory air conditioning, AM/FM radio, and many other desirable options. It was beautifully and correctly restored to painstakingly detailed, authentic, and Lincoln Continental Owners Club (LCOC) Ford Trophy-winning condition by marque specialist Gordon Jensen, and was later acquired, six years ago, for the Calumet Collection, whose owner deemed it to be the finest he had ever seen. It is one of the highlights of the collection, running and driving beautifully, with its power windows and power folding top functioning as new.
