Following in the 456’s footsteps, Ferrari’s 612 Scaglietti offered twelve-cylinder sophistication for four passengers, and a near 200 mph top speed. But, for those who sought to add a bit more performance to this already exceptional platform, was there HGT2 package. These cars offered slightly more aggressive performance, thanks to a sports exhaust, a slightly more aggressive transmission, stiffer anti-roll bars and firmer settings for the electronically controlled dampers, as well as 20” ball-polished Challenge wheel.

This HGT2-equipped 612 Scaglietti is beautifully specified in Nero Daytona paintwork with a beige interior featuring black Daytona-style seat inserts. Fitted with satellite navigation and yellow-painted calipers, carbon fibre interior trim, and carbon ceramic brakes, it was originally delivered to Sweden through the official Ferrari dealership Autoeuropa of Arlöv on March 10, 2008. Exported to Norway by at least 2013, the car has remained there ever since. Its last service was carried out in December 2019, and it has been driven less than 10 km since.

Retaining its original owners manuals, including its original warranty manual, this shows that he car has been regularly looked after in Sweden, and that the car retains its original engine. HGT2-equipped 612 Scagliettis are truly rare automobiles and this example would make an exceptional high-speed tourer for four.
