42 hp, 649 cc OHV vertical twin-cylinder engine, AMAL carburettor, four-speed, foot-shift transmission, dual seat, telescopic front forks, rear swing-arm suspension, hand-operated front drum brake, foot-operated rear drum brake. Wheelbase: 57"

The 650-cc Tiger T110 was named for its top speed, and it was also the first Triumph to offer swing-arm rear suspension. The prototype made its name in the 1953 ISDT, and the T110 featured stronger crankshaft, high-compression pistons, bigger valves, hot cams and ‘Delta’ high-compression cylinder head.

Imported to the UK in 2009, this Tiger 110 was restored by its previous owner. A detailed list of the work undertaken is provided with the bike. This included an engine rebuild, repaint of the frame and body work, and many new parts were utilised.

Still in very good all-around condition, this Tiger is supplied with a new MoT, UK V5 registration document and a Vintage Motorcycle Club dating certificate. In addition to original equipment, it is fitted with a non-standard ‘QD’ type headlamp, single-side exhaust and an upgraded and significantly improved twin leading shoe front brake. Reportedly in good working order, this classic pre-unit Triumph is a very usable bike and represents excellent value.
