With safety upgrades completed in 2011, this 327-cid, 340-hp V-8-powered roadster has new exhaust, carburetor, radiator and rebuilt brakes. The all-red exterior features both hard and soft tops, full wheel covers with simulated knock-offs and is contrasted by a black bucket seat interior. 1962 was the last year for the open, dual-quad headlight treatment that first appeared on the Corvette for 1958. Mating well with the earlier-designed front end, the ducktail rear end also provides an additional twenty percent of luggage space under the trunk lid.
