The blue with tan interior sedan is powered by Packard’s 327-cid, 145-hp straight eight cylinder engine with a three-speed manual transmission. Factory promotion of the new line hailed the introduction of Comfort-aire ventilation that allowed fresh air into the cabin in all weather conditions and reduced fogging. The Console-Key instrument panel was all push button and introduced non-glare gauge backlighting for after-dark driving convenience. The sedan seen here is a great testament to the Packard standards of engineering and reliability.

In 1948, Packard was in an enviable position being in sound shape financially and with a stellar reputation for well built, well-engineered vehicles. In the ownership of the same family for over 30 years the chance is being offered here for someone else to experience and appreciate these attriubtes.
