Bronze.

One of only eight examples cast, this extremely rare, original bronze desk sculpture was commissioned by Pierre Bardinon for his renowned Collection Mas du Clos. Personally given to the consignor by Bardinon, it is believed that these sculptures were only gifted to discerning friends and clients of the great Ferrari enthusiast.

Dated May 1992 and inscribed “Collection Mas du Clos,” this dynamic piece features Enzo Ferrari seated at his desk while holding the infamous prancing horse in his left hand and a pair of sunglasses in his right. In front of Enzo, the desk is littered with papers and books, from which some of his most successful creations literally spring forth. Of the cars featured, each iconic in their own right, they include, from left to right, Bardinon’s 312 PB, 412 P, 250 GTO, 250 TR 59/60, and 375 Plus, as well as some of Ferrari’s greatest grand prix cars along the bottom. The bronze is beautifully detailed and highly presentable and remains in excellent overall condition.
