Marking the 100th anniversary of the introduction of the Colt Army revolver, exemplified both the civilian and the military/cavalry contract of their production.

Colt "Frontier Six Shooter" .44 Caliber Single Action Army Revolver

Known by most as "the Peacemaker" and was one of the Wild West's most popular guns as it shared ammunition with a Winchester rifle, allowing a person to carry only one type of ammunition for both guns. Numbered CP 1937, features hard rubber grips, a 7 in. round barrel and six-round capacity fluted cylinder. Engraved with "1873 Peacemaker Centennial 1973" on one side of the barrel and "Colt Front Six Shooter" on the other side. Small plaque also included. This example is in excellent condition, nickel finish shows no wear, nor do the hard rubber stocks.

Colt .45 Caliber "Peacemaker" Single Action Army Revolver

An anniversary edition with a 7.5 in. barrel with "1873 Peacemaker Centennial 1973" inscribed on the side and the address on the top. With a six-round capacity fluted cylinder, three-screw frame and walnut grips. Serial number PC1937. Excellent overall condition; appears to be of newer issue with little to no wear.

Please note, these guns are grouped among Post 1898 Colt Single Action Army Revolvers, subject to Federal and State Gun Laws Representing Transfer of Ownership.
