In 1969 Honda launched a few series of motorcycles including the Z50Z, the Japanese version of the common A series which was called the Mini Trail or the "Monkey". The US series was also known as the KO model, which was produced for the off road market only and did not include some features. Almost every year with the "Monkey" and the "Mini trail" each new version had a K designation. The KO was then followed up by the K1,K2 and K3 etc. Because the Z50A series bikes were street legal Honda decided to produce the QA50. This excellent QA50 featured here was one of the models that was specially designed for off road use because of the lack of lighting. It also had its own unique engine. The QA50 was only built for 5 years until the K3 series in 1975.
