This 61 cubic inch Four deserves to be better known. Cleveland started by building well regarded two stroke lightweights, but turned to building in line Fours in 1926. Designed by engineer Everett DeLong, the Cleveland Four was well designed, powerful and easy to maintain. Top speed was near 100 mph, much faster than most contemporary road machines.
