The Tiger 500 was first introduced in 1939. Inspired by the 1938 "Speed Twin". An immediate performance leader, the Tiger proved to be the one to beat by all other manufacturers of the time. 1953 introduced the "Unit Construction" version of the speed twin, by combining what was three separate units into one engine drive train combination., this unusual high pipe version of the famous Tiger 100 has undergone a complete and documented mechanical and cosmetic restoration.
