With time-honored tradition of careful evolution and refinement of its products, Harley-Davidson created what experts and enthusiasts agree to be its first modern motorcycle - the JDBC. Immediately recognizable by its streamlined fuel tank, the JDBC set the dominant styling and design theme for virtually all future Harley-Davidson models.

The JDBC was powered by a refined version of Harley’s famed F-head V-twin engine, displacing 1,200 cc’s. A redesign of the frame greatly improved handling and comfort. Revisions to the engine mounting provided a lower center of gravity, and combined with wider but smaller diameter tires, the JDBC presented a solid and aggressive look that continues to influence today.

This exceptional 1925 Harley-Davidson JDBC is one of very few surviving, all original, unmolested, unaltered examples.

AMCA judged, at the Perkiomen meet in April 2003 as a 96.75 accurate and correct machine this JDCB is one of the best examples of an early Harley Davidson to be found. Rarely does such a untouched example become available.
