- The Delahaye 135 S was entered by Rob Walker with Arthur Dobson at the wheel
- Dobson was victorious against stiff competition including Hugh Hunter’s Alfa Romeo 8C 2900B Mille Miglia Spider
- Depicted is Walker’s Delahaye charging ahead of Ian Connell’s Talbot T150-C on the Brooklands Outer Circuit banking
- Retained by the Walker family since winning the painting
